Meet Dr. Jeffery B. Dattilo

I started out wanting to be a cardiovascular surgeon and realized that vascular surgery would allow more options for me to better serve my patients. After 11 years of being a surgeon with Vanderbilt, I was allowed the opportunity to work with The Surgical Clinic. I met my wife within 2 weeks of being in Boston and we’ve been together ever since. We have 2 boys who are the spice to my life. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to getting home to them and hearing about their days. The things I enjoy about The Surgical Clinic is the camaraderie of the other members of the group. I was able to have a hand in training a couple of the members while I was at Vanderbilt. To see that come back around is really gratifying. We’ll be able to have the opportunity to start a general surgery residency program for the first time, affiliated with The University of Tennessee.
